The short version
indexcly makes money through affiliate and referral arrangements. If you click a Check availability button and go on to book, the partner concerned may share part of its margin with us. Your rate is identical to the one you would see arriving at the hotel site any other way.
Which links can earn
Booking buttons on the index cards are marked as sponsored links in the page code and open the hotel's official website in a new tab. Some of these may be tracked through a partner or affiliate network. Links inside the text, such as those to our own policy pages, carry no referral tracking.
The owned resort
Our publisher, the United Auburn Indian Community, owns Thunder Valley Casino Resort, which is card No. 1. It sits first because of that ownership, not because of an independent assessment, and a booking there benefits the publisher directly. The ribbon on the card and the note beside it say the same thing.
What commission does not change
- Positions two to ten are set by editorial judgement and cannot be bought.
- Commercial terms have no bearing on what we write about any hotel.
- A hotel with no referral arrangement can still earn a card.
