About
Indexcly is a small, independent index of hotels. It covers four kinds of stay and describes each one in plain prose.
What the index covers
The four categories are art hotels, capsule hotels, casino hotels and ice hotels. They have little in common, and that's deliberate. Each describes a kind of stay that people tend to look up on its own, and each is easier to compare when the entries sit side by side.
How entries are written
An editor picks every hotel. We read the property's own material and other public sources, then write a short description in our own words. We avoid ratings, prices and anything that changes week to week, because those go out of date quickly.
Casino hotels are described as hotels. Their gaming floors are mentioned as one facility among several, alongside the restaurants, theatres and spas.
What we don't do
We don't sell rooms or take bookings. We don't accept payment for inclusion or placement. We don't publish guest reviews or star scores.
Corrections
If something on the site is wrong or out of date, write to editors@indexcly.com. We check every correction and update the page when it holds up.
